What this is

Information Verifier checks claims โ€” forwarded messages, screenshots, voice notes and video links โ€” against fact-checkers and other sources, and explains what it finds. It is free, and it is run on a best-effort basis by Vinayak Mokashi.

Answers are written by AI

Every answer is written by an AI. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when it sounds sure. Don't rely on an answer without checking the linked sources yourself. When nothing reliable covers a claim, the answer is meant to say so โ€” and that is an answer too.

Not professional advice

Answers are general information about whether a claim is supported. They are not medical, legal or financial advice. For a decision about your health, your money or your legal rights, ask a qualified professional.

Sources belong to others

The pages an answer links to belong to other people. We don't control them, and neither they nor Google endorse this service or its answers.
